Kristin and her daughter Violet

Kristin Lynch has been working in birth, postpartum, and midwifery care passionately over the last fourteen years. In 2000, she became a doula through DONA (Doulas of North America). She graduated from Birthwise Midwifery School in 2002, interned with Nancy Wainer (author of Silent Knife and coined the term VBAC), and attended classes at The Farm in Tennessee (training with The Farm midwives including Ina May Gaskin).  Although Kristin does not currently offer midwifery care, she was previously certified as a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) in 2003.  Later that year, Kristin and her husband were blessed with the first of their three children.

Kristin founded The Pampered Mother and is currently offering birth and postpartum doula care as well as placenta encapsulation, Reiki, foot reflexology and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) services.

Kristin Lynch is also the owner of Placenta Therapeutics. Placenta Therapeutics' services offer women ways to utilize the healing benefits of their placenta for their postpartum well-being in an easy to take fashion. She has been trained by Full Circle Placenta and holds a current certification in Blood Borne Pathogens as well as a current Massachusetts ServSafe Food Handler’s Safety certificate.  To learn the benefits of placenta encapsulation and review the research visit PlacentaTherapeutics.com
In her free time, Kristin enjoys studying and furthering her education in nutrition and different healing therapies such as Herbalism, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Reflexolgy and Qi gong.  She is an avid re-purposer and loves to sew, spend time in nature with her family practicing primitive earth living skills, cooking delicious nourishing whole foods and traveling.
